It surprises me and makes me angry that the art of creating value in both places handling equipment makes sense if the application of new or different ways media can, by itself render the media in the art. New beats not always innovation, and innovation in itself does not equal art. Art is emotional expression and intellectual and personal revelation, in individual experience. The emphasis has shifted from developing countries in depth and honesty in individual expression, to celebrate the innovations in materials and techniques are simply seeking to shock, disturb or confuse viewers without ever taking themselves or their world.
Throughout history, artists have manipulated the media in response to their need to express more fully and with more depth than they need to communicate. Mostly technology and innovation of material derived from artistic process of self-exploration. It donâ € ™ t happen in the other direction. Therefore, innovation is not necessarily synonymous with good art and just because we can do something doesnâ € ™ t necessarily need it. What is cool is rarely deep and technology can not substitute for genuine human expression.
Unfortunately, this emphasis on new media and technology has replaced the emphasis on content and in the process, we lost our value to the aesthetic, even if we tend to carry the word the only beauty, but also perception. For me, art is what gives a voice to things we ourselves do not know. It broadens our consciousness. It resonates deep within us and soothes us with the honesty with which he reveals to the world around us, our common experiences, and value of our personal travel at the same time it confirms our wishes, desires, hopes and dreams.
Art should never be simply a comment or a political statement. In the same breath, art should never be mere sentiment or raw emotion. Instead, art should create a dialogue through which the emotional and intellectual response to the experience unfolds. Currently, expression, everything we know an object, an object or an abstraction of them – the individual, the history, the moment â € "is translucent, revealed to us by the vulnerability and the courage of an artist who is ready to be completely honest. Then, as viewers, we can discover that in anger he is both love and fear, that hope comes from the loss and is supported by the determination and self-realization that our memories weave the fabric of our present, and that everything we thought we had set a myriad pieces yet to be discovered.
It is time for a new artistic movement, the time for artists to collectively define the direction we take in the 21st century. It is time focus on those works that embody the authenticity of expression on the material handling, the depth of observation, the beauty (Which does not mean enough) during disturbance, clarity and intuition on the discharge and confusion. Our continued commitment to support works whose meaning is that the interpretation by conservatives (whose jobs depend on whether the work requires an interpretation) condemns us. For if, as a culture, our highest honors are reserved for those who seek to shock, destroy, and manipulate as they deny the magnitude our experience, so our culture can aspire to is the same.
Instead, we must inspire the creation of art value again which is both insightful and beautiful, regardless of medium or subject. For too long we have lived under the umbrella of our history recently. There is no truth to the belief that the work sells bad and good work gets hung in Museums. It is time to eliminate the myth of the starving genius and selling high. It is time to lay to rest the idea that if you canâ € ™ t understand something, then it must be good. Finally, it is time to help heal our world through artworks and exhibitions that attempt to value the man's despair man. Each of the major movements before and through the 20th century were created by a handful of dedicated artists. Can we not do the same thing? Indeed, if we are Wona € ™ t the world follow?
