exhibition/sale- local art what do I paint it?
I need to make money and there is an exhibition of local art and sooner if thinking about painting a few pieces. What topics would you fire sellers at this time of difficult economic. The exhibition runs for one week in a room of the local rural community and most visitors are locals (residents aged 40-70) with some friends of theirs and tourists. I can paint any what topic. Thank you.
Many seniors like pictures, you can recognize. Sunsets, landscapes, things like that. Now Take a big book with you. If someone likes your work, ask for their e-mail, so you can put them on your mailing list, and let them know if you have new work. Even too, if someone buys a pick, you should try to get their e-mail. If they like your work, they may want to give your details to their friends, or buy more at a later date. So you need to be ready and able to send them email stating your new works. Also, remember to talk to people who stop to admire your work. Why? Sometimes people don `t buy a work because he didn` t fit with their decor, color wise. So, say you do a sunset in the golds and oranges, let them know you can do one to match their decor, such as lilac and purple. Etc. Even if you don `t sell on the day, really sell your talent. And cards your e-mail, if they want to buy later and regret not buying the day. Hope this helps.
